Shabbat Breakfast and Torah Study Our Shabbat breakfast and Torah study meets in the Chapel every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. A crew of volunteers prepare and serve the scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, and creamy oatmeal for all comers. Then, we'll really get cooking with study of the weekly Torah portion at 10:00 AM. When there is no bar or bat mitzvah, we enjoy an hour-long service, including Torah reading, at 11:00 AM. (The breakfast is completely free of charge. If you are looking for a way to contribute, we are always in need of people to help clean up). Click here to download the study sheet. |

Spiritual and Ethical Teachings for the Counting of the Omer The seven-week period from Passover to Shavuot is known as "The Counting of the Omer." During this period, Reform Rabbis, including Rabbi Goldwasser, are teaching a weekly class on Wednesdays at 8PM. The class will present teachings that focus on Jewish texts, spiritual practices, and ethical exercises specific to each week of the Counting of the Omer. Click here to register for the course. |

Kosher Senior Café Temple Sinai is the host site for the Kosher Senior Café run by Jewish Collaborative Services of Rhode Island on Fridays at 11AM. The program offers kosher meals and socializing for older adults and those with physical disabilities. Reservations are required two days in advance for meals, and there is a suggested donation of $3 per meal. There is no charge for scheduled social activities.
